I was having lots of issues with Chrome on Android scaling my fonts to make them more readable to the end user. This can be handy when it comes to large blocks of text with no styling, but in my instance it was messing with a list with defined heights.

But this is only supported by iOS as far as I can tell, so Chrome will simply ignore it and continue to use something called font boosting.

There is a solution, even if it’s a messy one. Setting a max-height greater then the elements height on one of the parents elements seems to resolve this issue. For instance:

This seems to resolve the issue. Even though it’s not ideal.
